Qualifications
and Experience
I have over 10 years of experience working for NHS psychology services across London offering therapy to adults experiencing a wide range of common mental health difficulties. I work with individuals and also with couples who are experiencing relationship problems and have experience of running group therapy sessions. I continue to work closely with GPs to increase their awareness of mental health, and offer supervision to qualified and trainee therapists.

Working for NHS services for many years, I have been lucky to work with a wide variety of professionals and to receive high quality continuous professional development from experts at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London, which is a leading institution for training in psychology and for clinical research. I have also been fortunate to receive specialist supervision from the Centre of Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (CADAT) which is the national service specialising in treating anxiety disorders.

I have professional accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Pscyhotherapist (BABCP) and I am committed to providing evidence-based therapy in line with guidelines provided by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence. This means that the therapy has been thoroughly tested to ensure it is effective in the treatment of particular psychological difficulties. I stay up to date with the latest research and treatment protocols by attending training sessions and read current research papers published by the BABCP and British Psychology Society (BPS).
