Talking Therapies

About me

I believe it is really important to give time and space to our emotional well being. We live in a world with many demands placed upon us and at times it can be difficult to cope. Over time it is possible to develop unhelpful ways of dealing with stress or we may try to avoid negative feelings by ignoring them, which can make them worse.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to make changes and therapy provides a safe and confidential space to explore how you're feeling and develop strategies to help you cope with the demands of life or to overcome difficult past or current experiences.

It is important to remember that therapy is not a miracle cure and takes time and commitment to get the most out of it. Working together, I hope to help you learn more about how your thoughts and behaviours are interacting and what you can do to feel more in control of your feelings.

I aim to make therapy as accessible as possible and can offer individual therapy appointments face to face or via Google Meet video. I also offer walking sessions for those who may wish to talk and walk. I value each person as a unique individual, recognising and respecting differences, tailoring treatment to reflect diversity.
